This is a few pages on the life of Mervyn and his love for trains and the people that are connected with them...

Ever since I can remember way back Merv was connected with trains, and as we can see he has a train all of his very own . At the bottom of this page you will see his well kept train that he tours around the country side with and attends social events at other clubs in the region. Usually when Merv travels he makes notes of what was going on at the venue and it is all very detailed out for people to read. He has been down to places by invitation from people in other clubs and is always happy to take his train and display and run it for people that might like to have a ride on it.

In Mervyn's home he has a collection of Memorabilia for display and people are welcome to come and take a look at all the collections of things that he has collected over the years. Some of the Train Buffs come from far and wide and always call in to see how Merv is going with his train and they are also told where he has been on trips to different parts of the South and North.

Merv has also another side to his life he is a very keen Camera enthusiast and he used to work at Kodak in Rockhampton in the earlier days, he has thousands of photo's in his collection.

Mervyn also has a humorous side to him he has plenty of funny things to tell that has happened to him in his life- time some of which I will show later on through the pages.

These clocks seen above are one of his hobbies, some of the clocks are very old and you are lucky if you can still gets parts for them, they are all wound up on the same day and usually at the same time each week Here is some of the Memorabilia inside his house a collection of over 50 years things that have almost been forgotten but not for Merv. He has a lot of interesting browsing for anyone interested in being a Train Buff
